I am a professionally trained and licensed massage therapist. I have worked hard to create a safe, welcoming space for all of my clients. The services I provide are not sexual in nature and ANY misconduct will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.

cancellation policy.

I understand that unanticipated events come up (inclement weather, illness, etc) and want to remain flexible for my clients! If you are feeling unwell, I absolutely want you to stay home and rest! I trust that you will only cancel your appointment in a true emergency. 

That being said, cancellations do mean a loss of income for me as a therapist. The sooner you can let me know you won't be able to make your appointment, the better! In my desire to be fair to all clients and to honor my own time, the following policies are in place:

  • Booking: A credit/debit card is needed to book an appointment and requires a deposit of 50% of the cost of your service. This deposit goes towards the cost of your session . You can also opt to prepay the full amount of your service if you would prefer.  

  • Cancellation: 48 hours advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. If you are unable to give 48 hours advance notice, your deposit will not be refunded but can be applied toward a massage booked within the next two weeks pending availability. 

  • No-Call No-Show: A no-call no-show will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Multiple no-call no-shows will mean I can no longer accept appointments from you (an uncomfortable situation for both of us to be in). 

  • Winter Weather: Oh the joys of Maine winters! If the weather is inclement, please reach out to me by 9 am on the morning of your appointment so that we can discuss whether the safest option for both of us is to reschedule. 

  • Late arrivals: If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. My phone may be on do-not-disturb mode if I am in a session, but calling or texting is the best way to get in touch with me. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the full amount of the session scheduled. 

  • Payment: Unless you have pre-paid for your appointment, full payment is expected after treatment in the form of gift certificate, cash, or credit/debit card. All clients, whether they have received treatment or booked an appointment, are bound by this policy without any prejudice or exemption.

Your safety and privacy is of the utmost importance. Any information I gather in our conversations or through your intake forms is purely for the purpose of our work together. Please know that our sessions are always kept confidential unless you specifically request information to be released, such as for an insurance claim or to your healthcare provider.
